Reduced trackside bling bling (by Tobias Kluge)

This is my 2nd small mod for Shift 2 unleashed, it removes some of the generic overdone trackside objects (flags, tents a.o.). Right now only the real tracks from Shift 1 are properly edited – it will take some time to finish the work for the new tracks in Shift 2.

The archive contains 2 versions of this mod. It is highly recommended to use the installer the 2nd archive is for an unpacked game (check out the quickbms threads on Shift 1) only.

Sebring International Raceway 1.0

Virtua_LM just released another high-quality track for rFactor, bringing the Sebring International Raceway to the simulation.

The track hosts the famous Sebring 12 Hour race that’s currently happening, the virtual version comes with three different layouts including the full track as well as the Club & Modified layouts. As you expect from Virtua_LM, the track maxes out rFactor’s graphic capabilities coming with great textures, lots of trackside objects and spectacular night lighting as you can see on the previews below. The track is perfect for Endurance Series or other sports car mods, proving a great venue for grueling endurance battles.

Located in Florida, Sebring is one of the USA’s well known motorsport venues, hosting the annual 12 hour sports car race in March. The track is a rather though one as the raceway is located on a former airfield, most of the circuit utilises concrete pavement with plenty of bumps that have already knocked out the bolts and pieces of many cars.
