Imola 2010 – Seven New Previews

Culmone67 & Mauro Delega have released seven new previews of their impressive Imola 2010 track project, showing off some of the rapid progress and the exceptional textures.

The track will be released for rFactor, netKar Pro & GTR2, bringing the recent Imola layout to three of the most popular simulations.

Officially known as the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the track has been majorly revamped after the 2006 season including a brand new pit complex and layout changes. Most importantly, the new layout lacks the final Variante Bassa chicane when used for car racing, creating a long flat-out straight all the way from Rivazza to the Traguardo corner.

Prototype C – WM Peugeot P86 Preview Video

The Virtua_LM Junior Team has released a new preview video of their much-anticipated Prototype C mod for rFactor, showing a lap at Le Mans in the WM P86.

Powered by Peugeot engines, the WM cars were famous for their extreme top end speed, edging out the works cars from manufacturers such as Porsche & Jaguar. A Peugeot-powered WR still holds the Le Mans speed trap record, exceeding 400 kilometres per hour on the famous and notoriously bumpy Hunaudieres straight.

Combining both Prototypes and GT’s from three different classes, Prototype C for rFactor centers around the 1983 & 1984 editions of the Le Mans 24 Hour race. The mod includes legendary race cars like the Porsche 956, the Lancia LC2, the BMW M1 and countless other cars that are still considered to be among the most beautiful and spectacular sports cars of all time.

All in all, Prototype C will bring over sixty car models to rFactor, the full car list can be found here.
