With the release of Codemasters’ first ever official Formula One title now being less than a month away, the last gaps of information regarding F1 2010 are quickly being filled.

Part of that is the official controller compatibility list that includes all controllers that will be officially supported by the title on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

The list dosen’t really contain any surprises as all popular wheels from Logitech, Fanatec & Thrustmaster are supported, the choice of controllers being of course largest for the F1 2010 PC version of the title.

Following their maiden Formula One title that was released only for the Playstation Portable and the Nintendo Wii, Codemasters will be bringing the 2010 Formula One season to the PC, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. F1 2010 has been confirmed to be released September 24.

World Super GT 2 – Renault Megane Nordschleife On-Board

Team RMT’s Arnold Wong has released a new video, showing a Nordschleife lap in the team’s Renault Megane Trophy car that will be used both in the World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2 and in the Megane Trophy mod for rFactor.

The video shows pre-release physics made with official Renault Megane data featuring true to life suspension geometry, sounds effects aren’t final and include louder brake noise for testing purposes.

Powered Renault Sport Technologies, the Megane Trophy is a spec series using tubeframe race cars powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that puts out 360hp. The cars weigh little over 1000 kilos and feature advanced racing technologies such as a paddle-shifting system, double wishbone suspension and adjustable dampers.

Successor to World Super GT for GTR 2, World Super GT 2 will bring some of of the most legendary GT cars of the 90s as well as Super GT GT500 class machinery to rFactor 2. Aside from being included in the team’s World Super GT 2 mod for rFactor 2, the Renault Megane Trophy is also planned to be released as standalone mod for rFactor.

iRacing has released a first render of the most-anticipated content addition to their online racing simulation – The Williams FW31 Formula One car.

The car is planned to be available by the end of the current iRacing season in ten weeks time, giving sim racers the first ever chance to drive a laser-scanned Formula One car.

Driven by Nico Rosberg & Kazuki Nakajima, the FW31 was powered by a Toyota V8-engine and was one of the first cars to make use of the controversial rear diffusor in the early parts of the 2009 season. Rosberg managed to clinch 34.5 championship points, helping Williams to a 7th place in the manufacturers championship.
